This Friday, August 15, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. (Brasília time), the Unesp Global Talks & AgriLink: Brazil–Africa Dialogues will take place, featuring the theme “Biological Control for a Sustainable Future.” The event brings together Prof. Dr. Regiane Cristina de Oliveira (UNESP) to present Brazil’s experience in biological control, chemical ecology, and integrated pest management, highlighting solutions to address agricultural challenges such as climate change and invasive pests. The initiative is the result of cooperation between the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) and Brazilian institutions, including UFV, which has already benefited nearly one thousand African professionals through training programs and academic exchanges.
The program includes a keynote lecture, followed by a Q&A session, and closing remarks with reflections on new opportunities for academic cooperation within the ARIFA network.
