The Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV), through its Office of International Affairs (DRI), has opened the application period for its free online courses taught in foreign languages for the first semester of 2026. This initiative, ongoing since 2020, promotes international academic exchange and offers learning opportunities for students from other institutions and for degree holders around the world.

A total of 18 courses will be offered in areas such as biology, engineering, humanities, agriculture, food science, and animal science. Although the program does not grant degrees, students who successfully complete the courses will receive an official transcript, which may allow credit transfer in UFV’s graduate programs.
