On Monday, July 7th, the Nigerian Community in Viçosa (NCV) held the inauguration ceremony of its newly elected executive board for the 2025–2027 term. The event took place at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) and marked the beginning of a new leadership committed to strengthening community ties and promoting greater cultural and academic integration between the Nigerian community and the local society.

Representatives from UFV’s Office of International Affairs, Professor Vladimir Di Iorio and Elisa Müller, and Professor Evandro Melo, Kamaldeen’s advisor, were also present, reinforcing the ties of cooperation between the institution and the foreign communities living in Viçosa.
